Phillip Yang, MD, grew up in Michigan, graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, and is currently an anesthesiology resident at Washington University in St. Louis. His interest in the Ethics of Surgery Fellowship is driven by his desire to critically examine the ethical complexities that permeate perioperative, post-operative, and intensive care decision-making. His commitment to medical ethics also extends into medical education, where he has a particular interest in the ethical considerations surrounding the use of big data and learning analytics in medical education.
