Olaronke Akintola-Ogunremi, MD, is Chief of the Department of Pathology at Christian Hospital, St. Louis and a member of the Biomedical Ethics Committee. Over the course of 19 years in pathology, Dr. Akintola-Ogunremi has served in multiple leadership roles, reflecting a strong commitment to both clinical excellence and institutional service. Her work is grounded in a deep sense of responsibility to patients and colleagues, with a particular focus on navigating end-of-life issues with compassion and clarity. Through her leadership and ethics involvement, Dr. Akintola-Ogunremi advocates for thoughtful, patient-centered decision-making. She is eager to contribute to the EthoS Fellowship and further engage with the ethical dimensions of surgical care.
