Katherine L. Garvey, MD, MPH is a resident in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. She attended Yale University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with Distinction. She then earned her Master of Public Health in Chronic Disease Epidemiology with a concentration in Global Health at the Yale School of Public Health. She graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with Distinction in Research. Based on her prior clinical and research experiences, she developed a passion for medical ethics and is looking forward to more deeply exploring key issues in surgical ethics through this fellowship.
